Erin Lindley – Office Manager
Erin Lindley is a dedicated professional with 25 years of diverse experience in office administration and supervision. A proud San Diegan and resident of East County for over three decades, Erin brings a wealth of expertise to her role at Good Earth Plant Company, where she applies her extensive knowledge to daily operations with enthusiasm.
Sales & Design Team
Rachel – Lead Design & Project Manager
Rachel was originally hired in 2018 as a Horticultural Technician. Rachel has always had a talent for visual design and has put her creative skills to use in a variety of jobs including as a retail visual manager and as a floral designer. Now she puts her skills to work for Good Earth Plant Company clients on living walls, moss walls, and more – even our award-winning “Art Alive!” displays. Rachel is a native of Illinois and has lived in Arizona and Nebraska before coming to San Diego.
Alexis – Marketing & Sales Lead
Alexis is the Sales and Marketing Lead at Good Earth Plant Company, where she oversees brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and sales support. She combines creative storytelling with data-driven strategy to showcase Good Earth Plant’s work across digital and print platforms. She focuses on communicating the value of biophilic design and helping spaces come to life through thoughtful interior landscape solutions.
Operations Leadership
Cassidy – Operations Coordinator
Born and raised in East County San Diego, Cassidy has been with Good Earth Plant Company since 2017, starting fresh out of high school as a part-time warehouse assistant. Over the years, she has grown into several key roles, including Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager Assistant, and Purchaser—before being promoted to Operations Coordinator. Today, she helps ensure operations, scheduling, and workflows run smoothly while collaborating across departments to keep everything moving efficiently. Outside of work, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her husband, caring for her five reptiles and two cats, visiting the desert, and cooking.
Cody – Service Supervisor & Certified Plantscape Technician
Cody joined Good Earth Plant Company in 2023 as a Plant Technician and was recently promoted to Service Supervisor thanks to his exceptional work ethic and leadership skills. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Plant Sciences, Cody brings a strong foundation in horticulture to his role. He is also the first at Good Earth Plant Company to become a Certified Plantscape Technician. Outside of work, Cody enjoys woodworking, landscaping, and gardening. He spends his free time with his wife, Marina, and their two dogs, Coco and Dottie.
Brandon – Installation Supervisor
Brandon is a 4th generation San Diegan who has lived in the area for nearly 50 yrs. He started at Good Earth Plants in November of 2021, and is now the lead Install/Project Manager. He enjoys seeing finished projects along with the impact that plants can create in a space…and of course, the smiles on customers faces. In his spare time, Brandon likes running with his dog in Ocean Beach, spending time with his wife and boys, playing volleyball, and working on cars.
Larry – Service Coordinator
Larry brings over twenty years of experience in the plant industry and more than a decade in operations management. As Service Coordinator, he is highly organized and works seamlessly across teams to keep operations efficient while maintaining high-quality results. Proactive by nature, Larry enjoys supporting technicians, solving problems, and taking on complex challenges. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family, exploring astrophysics and plant biochemistry, following sports, and being outdoors.

Jim Mumford, CLP, GRP
Jim Mumford is the President and CEO of Good Earth Plants, a leading horticultural service provider based in San Diego. His journey began in 1977 with the establishment of Good Earth Plant & Flower Company, a humble flower stand in downtown San Diego. Over the decades, Jim’s passion for biophilic design and sustainable landscaping has propelled Good Earth Plants to the forefront of the industry. Today, the company is renowned for its innovative approach to interior plantscaping and eco-conscious solutions that enrich both indoor and outdoor environments.
Jim Mumford is widely regarded for his expertise in designing and installing green roofs, living walls, moss walls, replica walls, and for improving workplace environments and employee wellness through plantscaping. His commitment to quality and sustainability has earned him recognition as the California ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and a place in the Plant Scape Hall of Fame. Beyond his professional achievements, Jim is deeply involved in community initiatives, championing causes that align with his passion for enriching lives through plants and fostering a sustainable future.
